Although I have decided to quit competitive VTES from time to time I will try to catch up a game or two. Just two days ago i have played four games. My decision to occasionally play also included to play only fun decks. So I played in my first game a Nergal/Horde rush deck that failed miserably since its predator was a Follower of Set bleed/enticement/corruption deck and I didn't pull Rotschreck/Flames in time. Second game was OK and my Salubri wall produced some VP's. Next deck I played was a Lasombra vote deck that had an awesome beginning but was shut down by Anneke. I managed to get a VP. Last game I played a super fun Petaniqua and werewolves deck that abused the rule that she can employ any werewolf ally. Almost got more than 1 VP but the Akunanse wall proved his mettle.
It was fun to play VTES again but it showed I was correct in my decision to stop playing it on a larger time basis since the amount of people or attitude didn't change. For a healthy and competitive VTES you need new players and new decks. Latter is easily done but first is very hard. Since it's not a live game anymore and its production stopped VTES is a dead game. Only enthusiast or lore interests will play it. For me it only serves as a occasional leap of memory.

Digging through; box flavor of the month
As I was rummaging through my old stuff I found some VTES decks! I implored my girlfriend that we need to play them immediately just to dust off our supreme skills. Not to mention I lost both of the duels to her Petaniqua and friendly werewolves company. My Baali Nergal wasn't up to the task to destroy this Malkavianesque Methuselah. Although it brought good memories we both sighed as this good old game isn't produced anymore. But now we both have a good deck to play with if past starts to haunt us again.
To the newer projects I have developed is my entry to the Pathfinder Society whereas I have become an official GM. It is a fun project and according to multiple players I have led so far it will be continued.
Of the board games we played the best I can mention is the Dungeon Quest. Highly recommendable since it has high replay ability value and is a fun thing even though you can die in the first turn you play. It is a board game about hunting treasure in a dragon dungeon before the dragon will wake up.

Creativity: Legacies
Making a board game is a tremendous work and I must say I have delved into three so far. None of the board games were a failure so I can say I am successful at what I do. But to make an RPG setting. Well, that is a work in progress. Great work in progress. So far I have made my setting about aliens and spaceships quire entertaining although it is only about 20% done. It is quite playable and easily attuned but not done. Not done at all.
I have more or less finished with the Legacies. Legacies are a code word for my class system since the PC's wont play these legacies to a scheduled list of feats, abilities or anything mandated by the role. They are legacies of what your character has done so far and what shaped him into what he is now. I found that class system to a regular player is a burden and it's much easier to fold into unknown if you only have a legacy what you have been not what you must be.
So far of all the legacies I made the one most proud I am is the Bon Vivant. Legacy about hedonism and just enjoyment of life with little to no responsibility. Sometimes we all want a bit of Bon Vivant ourselves.

People are burning bridges it's time to remake some.
Sometimes you need to give up on something and just move on. Due to some real life issues I had to move on from VTES and decided to put my interest in board games to the top. I'm spending most of my days, if not working, on making rpg's and board games as well playing the same. So far I'm pretty happy with the newly created stuff which I will eventually share here and try to explain my vision of gaming. Due to the harsh world of gaming that is now I've been entranced into the League of Legends. We won't mention my addiction about MMO's a lot but I am an addict and after a while I've decided to just stick to RPG's and board games for now.
Currently making 2 RPG projects: Starfall, urban sci fi setting made for large space ship battles as well as role playing in close quarters. It is located in a alternate reality universe of Earths Dominion as well many other factions. My second project is without a name currently though code named Steam. It is a steam punk setting. Largely due to my addiction to one of the best steam punk computer games ever made: Arcanum of Steam works and Magic Obscura I've decided to make one for myself and my team of players and play testers.
Secondly, I'm playing many board games on a weekly basis. Currently testing Battleship. And from my own factory I made we are playing a Civilization type Collectible Card Game code named Genesis, CCG code named Duels and 2 tactical board games similar to Risk and Axis and Allies code named Sunset Wars and Creatures.
Latest tested game was Love Letters. It is an awesome game which we greatly enjoyed. It is incredible simple and yet perfectly made for small groups to just use trickery and sense of intuition to grab victory.
