Osijek saw the clash of Titans from !Malkavians, Baali and !Brujah as dominant clans. In Belgrade !Ventrue are harvesting VP's with True Brujah on a steady pace.

VTES Hrvatska

Shvatio sam da nam nedostaje makar jedan članak na hrvatskom jeziku. Makar da opiše igru i zbilju u našoj državi što se tiče jednog od najstarijih CCG-a uopće.

Vampire: The Eternal Struggle 1994. stvorio je Richard Garfield te je to bila druga njegova igra te vrste, nakon godinu dana ranije izdanog Magic: The Gatheringa. Igra je bila smještena u setting Vampire: The Masquerade pen and paper RPG-a, a originalno je bila nazvana Jyhad po vječnom sukobu između vampira u tom settingu. Godinu dana nakon izdavanja preimenovana je u Vampire: The Eternal Struggle. Garfield je u svojim intervjuima više puta izjavio kako je dizajn igre temeljio na iskustvima koja je stekao prilikom stvaranja Magic: The Gatheringa te daje u V:TES-u ostvario puno elegantniju, funkcionalniju i zabavniju mehaniku. Što se posebno odnosilo na to da je savršeni broj za igru 4 igrača i politiku te utjecaj svih igrača na krajnji ishod.

Vampire: The Masquerade (skraćeno VTM ili VtM,) je prva stolna igra uloga izdavačke kuće White Wolf iz 1991. godine. Ujedno je i prva igra koja je koristila sustav igranja uloga Storyteller System razvijen u White Wolfu.
Igra je smještena u paralelni svijet koji se naziva Svijet tame (eng. World of Darkness). Svijet tame je mračna inačica suvremenog svijeta u kojem vampiri i ostala noćna bića vode neprestanu borbu. Ona su skrivena od ljudi takozvanom Maskeradom, krinkom koju čine utvrđeni obrasci ponašanja u javnosti i pred ljudima. Nesvjesni postojanja bića tame, ljudi postaju pijuni u njihovim spletkama i međusobnim obračunima. Mračna atmosfera igre postignuta je upotrebom gotičkog i pankerskog izričaja. Vampire: The Masquerade postao je zaštitni znak White Wolfa i pokrenuo cijeli niz igara smještenih u isti svijet.

Dok Redemption ne prati toliko vođenje po RPG-u, sami Bloodlinesi su jako dobro iskoristili mračni svijet i sve dodatke što nudi World of Darkness, a i sam Masquerade.

VTES u svijetu trenutno funkcionira preko http://www.vekn.net/ gdje se sastaju sva velika imena VTES scene te i oni manje poznati. Na samoj stranici se nalazi sve potrebno da se upoznate sa VTES-om te mehanikom turnira. Održavaju se redovni turniri kao, Nacionalna Prvenstva, kvalifikacije za Europska Prvenstva/Svjetska Prvenstva.
Posljednji turnir takve vrste je bio u Osijeku 25.6.2011. i to je bio kvalifikacijski za Europsko Prvenstvo što se ove godine održava u Varšavi.
U Hrvatskoj trenutno postoje dvije igraće zajednice VTES-a: Osijek i Zagreb. Obje okupljaju od 12+ igrača i sastaju se najmanje jednom tjedno. Phantoms in the Night

Due to the large discussions about groups 5 and 6 vampires and my storyline that we used these past few months I'll post some of the newly created vampires. They are all used for the storyline and are not official for any kind of play so far. Also pictures used are mainly from the web and not made for distribution. Glamour: Faceless Nights

As I mentioned it before changelings in VTES don't have very big impact on the overall game except the Kiasyd clan that helps them. In future if an expansion(if any) would bring changelings as new crypt options I would be thrilled.

They are many options as Changeling as a RPG option has open world for exploring and not only Seelie or Unseelie Court.

But what would cards bring? More bleed options as suggested on the Song of Pan? Probably, but I bet they would be a nifty practice where they utilize their stealth and trickery, something like Malkavians. Tho combat could posses some unique features in VTES, combination of Dementation and Obeah. They in fact can be very violent nature, at least some of them, so no surprise if they rip your soul or feast upon your flesh.

Allies cannot vote and call referendums but what if Changelings could. At least some of them. I wonder what would it bring to the card game.

I'll try to work on this subject a little more.

Glamour

Would VTES ever have a Changeling expansion? That thought constantly bugged me last few days. Something to support few changeling allies and maybe a new system like Imbued already have or the system that Ankha suggested on VEKN for mages. Changelings already have a full support clan like Kiasyd in their Song of Pan. But there could be a lot more. As well as additional boost for werewolves. But then again it wouldn't be so much Vampire as it would be World of Darkness CCG :)
That variety could help the game restart but it would bring untold troubles to the fledglings that would try to learn and grasp mechanics of the game.
Also this is one of my favorite book characters that would fit almost perfectly into Changeling system :)

League Update 1st Round

First round of our league passed extremely well with clans Ravnos, Tremere and Malkavians gaining most VP's.
Tho we had fun with Akunanse and Ventrue they did not stood the chance against pure bleed decks.
In Zagreb Kiasyd prevailed as most successful behind them were the Daughters of Cacophony.
Belgrade had an intriguing night with Nosferatu and Tremere as dominant clans. Their followers were Malkavian and Ventrue.

Expansions

Hehe not a VTES expansion but a League expansion. During a moment of epiphany I decided to harass my friends from Zagreb and Belgrade and a new League was born. After three years of gaming every week and over 90 gaming sessions it has come to that the league will include both gaming groups from Zagreb and Belgrade. I will post updates weekly (or I will try at least) of all three City Leagues as well a combined one. Codenamed Green League it finally starts.
